I made the pork spare ribs for dinner.... The funny thing is....

When Peter saw his dish,  .... then he questions me why " Ethan and Jaden have 6 pork spare ribs and I only have 2?" I immediatedly said" I thought you want to loose weight. Jaden then said ," yes, daddy, you want to loose 20 lbs, right? Remember, that was your goal!!".....So cute !!

Election Day is coming up!!

This year we are trying to mail in early.... instead of staning in line on Election Day!! So, Peter has to study each of the Local Ballot measures!!

In the evening, went to the parenting class ( Plugged in Family Forum .... related to kids and electronics)... lots of good sharings from other parents.....

"Reconciliation and Reset" .... we ended our meeting with praying together and ask our kids for forgiveness!! and Reset our values and beliefs in our family!

So much to do .... next 2 weeks, the schedule is very tight .... with their musical performances and recitals......

Fun Friday night after a very busy week.....

What a fun Friday night....

We first shopped at Great Mall, and we all brought  running shoes .... total cost of all 4 paris of shoes are little more than $100.

 Then Ethan and I were heading to watch " Middle School"... He is so excited!! He did everything I asked....

My project is almost done for the teaching material... special thanks to my hubby... helping me to putting it all togeter.. spend couple hours to do all that during few days ago.....

I have worked over 2 weeks of teaching material for Procedural Sedation... I am so glad is almost done....

A fun, relax Sunday!!

Busy day... but it was fun and relaxing....

We had the Yeung's and the Lee's, Sally and Andy over for lunch... it was so much fun!! lots of catch up!!

I was quit touched at the end... too bad didn't have my phone with me.... Ethan finally started to take care the little ones... He actually helped Hannah to put on her shoes, and he carried Hannah..... that was so sweet!!


Then we celebrating Ching Yin EE's b-day......

Jaden was surrounded by all girls.... he asked me later... what should I do with all these girls?
I told him... " just be a gentleman".....

The weekend is so fast and tomorrow is Monday... Seriously??

My new dish!!

Cooking, cooking and cooking!! Even on weekend!! I thought I was going to take a night off... but afterall, I guess not.... Instead, I made a new dish!! very good ...... kids like it... that is a good sign...
I will make more on Monday again...

So sweet of Sarah!! She brought me a cup of coffee when she worked at 7am...... you know, she is CNA, but she works so hard... Her son's b-day is same as Ethan..... always so thoughtful.... so so sweet!! Luv U!!

Cooking more for the family

Dinner, dinner and dinner.... this is what I do right after work.....

I have been lazy last two weeks after in law left to Hawaii...  time to cook more this week...

Ethan is requesting pizza, making pork spare ribs for SJSU soup club and making chicken rice for hubby all in 1.5 hours.... Ethan has a saxophoe class at 5:30pm.....

Got text messages from P.Alan, Joey and Angela how they enjoyed the pork spare ribs... thanks God! God is really using me to minister them by cooking..... What a true blessings!!

At work.... we took more picture..... I am working on my project....I got to do my stuffs... including taking picture..... Is it that nice??

going to miss Betty..... she is heading to vacation.....see you soon....

Team work!!

What a team work today!!

My patient came out from OR with tremendously pain ( screaming and moaning pain) who had VATS. I am a very aggressive nurse. I have been giving tons of medications but not touching her... I started to think ... is she hiding something that we don't know... is she taking outside drugs or taking pain meds but she didn't report? On the same time, I have to clarify some orders from the surgeon... it just happened that he walked back to Pre-op.... I told Karen to watch my patient and asked her to give Versed..... while I was over at Pre-op, and I saw Dr. Lee and Dr. Rama.... I told them what happened..they said " just give more"..... as I walked back to my patient... Her O2 sat dropping..... I then asked Karen to help.... Kari then came to help and we started to open airway and bagging her.... I told Karen to hurry up in a calm voice.... Anesthesiologist came and Dr. Lee and Dr. Rama at the bedside..... Repositioned and open airway.... she slowly waking up.... Thanks God!! We were lauging at them... see what happened? 

Karen told me afterward It is my first time I tell her to  " Hurry up".... we can't even believe the lowest O2 sat we saw was 10%.... what? 10%.... that was quit intense to bring her o2 sat up.... we were so calm until Matt comes along..... so loud and so panic..... That is Matt!! We just had a blast time..... even with an emergency situation!! Thanks God for giving me a good teamates at work!!

Congratulation to Sally and Andy!!

To my dear Sally,

Peter and I are so happy and excited you are engaged! Wow!! So fast but I believe God has put you both together!! I still remember how you came to our first homegroup. That was 4 years ago..... time flies.... even now we don't host anymore homegroup.  We still like mom and daughter relationship... What a prilivage for me..I thank God you came to our lives, and you and the girls bring us so much joy and loves to our family. We also thank all your loves to our kids, and they love you so much!! They always like you to be around!

It is surely my first time serving the young adult.... God has taught me a lot. I learn to be patience and to be a good listener. I learn to love who they are but without any judgments. God shows me patiently and lovingly guiding people when they are figuring out life. I understand it is all God's timing! I learn to partner with God rather than I tell God how I want things to be done!

There is no words to express how much we are happy for you. We will be very excited in the next few months to organize your BIG DAY!! We will have a whole crews with joy and laughs putting your wedding together.... It is going to be fun and fun!! Stress free!! Only prayers will move God's hands and we will pray for God's presence is with our midst!!

Family gathering..... nowadays, it is so hard to get together since we are all busy with our own lives. Gathering togeter is definietely very precious.... specially, Kimberly is entering college next year... we will surely will miss her more.....
