Daybreak camp ( 7/29)

Another week overnight camp....

Long talk with Ethan... God told us Ethan should go to this camp.. it is a struggle, and I understand he is homesick. I also understand God wants him to experience Him in a very unique way! A big step for the boy requires lots of courage and encouragment.  He wants to stay home in some ways and go part time... The more he talked about it.. the more he is so anxious about it!! So we just allow God to speak to him directly...

It does take a village to raise up a good kid... Jotham went up with us and dropped the kids off.. He is such a sweet boy... They were chatting non-stop on the ride, but as soon as the minute Ethan quiet down... He asked me again, " Can I leave Wednesday?" oh boy!!

Jotham is a very nice boy!! We are 

truly blessed!!

Kids.... we want to bless you to experience God... and to have fun!! We want you all to get the best out of it!! We just pray..... God will minister you throughout the trip!!

Ethan is returning ( 7/28)

Finally...

Ethan is returning... got a call on Wednesday evening... Ethan called and wanted to return home ... but yet he wanted to earn the merit badges.. so Friday.. ( that is not possible...) Homesick, crying and sobbing.... just not like Ethan... Being a boyscout, he should not give up and achieve to the goal. I then explained to him " you left with the team and you return back with the team" It sounds pretty harsh... but that is the right attiude that I want to teach my boy!! I am sure it is not an easy camp specially for 10 years old... Indeed, I am so prud of him... This time... I made sure I was there to pick him up!! God is good... only prayers can move God's hands...

He looks so big after just a week... I am sure he has overcame a lot with the help from God... This is a life learning.... I am so proud of you.. big boy!!

Ethan is heading to Oljato ( Frenso) 7/22

First time going away for 7 days and 6 nights boyscout camping by himself... Not easy as a mom to see him go.... but training to be more tough takes lots of sacrifice..... I know he will enjoy it no matter how hard!!

Ethan is heading to boyscout in few days... we have to prepare and getting our heart ready!! It is never be easy to let my big boy go for 7 days and 6 nights!! I have to remind myself... I have to let them out in order for them to experience God!

Commmunity is by grace! We thank God for fellowship! We need to learn how to care for others, and that is what God teaches us!!
